DANA RODRIGUEZ
James Beard nominated chef Dana Rodriguez earned her nickname Loca (meaning “crazy” in Spanish) over the years as she worked her way up in restaurants. She started first as a dishwasher, then became an acclaimed chef, then opened her own restaurants in Denver. She opened the instant-hit “Work & Class” and the extremely fun “Super Mega Bien.” She even has another restaurant in the works. As a chef, she used her extensive culinary skills in developing our mezcals and tequilas and works directly with our distillers to develop the Doña Loca brand of spirits.

KAREN ASHWORTH-MACFARLANE
The other Doña Loca in our company, Karen began her career as an entrepreneur; by developing and manufacturing an all natural line of outdoor clothing. She transitioned to become a financial planner at MerrillLynch, leading her into executive leadership roles at Morgan StanleySmith Barney, and RBC WealthManagement. Karen is passionate about being of service to her community, and is, and has been, a member of several nonprofit boards. Karen is dedicated to women’s empowerment, and the significant role women play in the production of all agave spirits in Mexico. As the CEO of Dígame, a certified B corporation, Karen is committed to truly impact the triple bottom line.
